Plain Mounting Canvas is a heavy-duty - beige - cotton-based fabric used as a substate for cavas-bonded photographs and prints.
This material is suitable for stretching around stretcher frames and should be used in conjunction with clear dry mount film.

Three styles are available: Coarse | Modern | Traditional

The modern varient offers a very regular weave structure - open and imparts a deep line pattern

The corse is more irregular in its weave pattern with a definate slub* to the threads - producing a very heavy impression.

slub* = a soft thick nub in yarn that is either an imperfection or purposely set for a desired effect.

This version imparts a softer - though still - distinct impression it also has a slub* pattern but with a closed weave.

This canvas is used for canvas bonding images.
It is a cotton-based in biege canvas coated with a heat activated adhesive.

Super White has a similar style to adhesive coted canvas but is bleached and starched to achieve a brilliant white base for canvas bonding.
It is coated with a heat activated adhesive and protected by a silicone release liner.
