Frame details
Fraya 25 Frames are UK made at our Nottingham works and not imported. The frame moulding size is shown in the illustration and made from a rigid composite material. Unless square all frames can be used either upright (portrait) or horizontal (landscape). The frame backing board is 3mm MDF board with two hangers for either horizontal or vertical hanging.
Glazing details
Glass glazing is fitted as standard. Acrylic safety glazing is an option (see below).
Aperture details
The aperture size relates to the picture size – the actual aperture is slightly smaller so that your picture does not fall through.
Adhesive Framers Tape
A brown medium weight self-adhesive tape that will not dry out, used for sealing the board back onto the moulding of a picture frame. 50 metre x 38mm roll. A roll will do several frames – if ordering more than one of the same picture frame then order one with the tape and then order again without tape for the remaining frames.
Mount details
We only use top quality Larson Juhl (Arqadia) conservation board. All mounts are bevel cut and the aperture size is slightly smaller than the stated size to prevent the picture falling through. Standard mounts are available in minuet (an ivory white; our most popular mount colour), snow white (a white white), black and aragon grey (light grey with a fine fleck). If we don’t have a suitable standard aperture for your print then you can order this by selecting “special aperture size required” from the drop-down box above and entering the size required. If you need a different colour mount then we can provide this as an option (see below).

Acrylic safety glazing – where safety glazing is recommended then acrylic glazing should be ordered. We use 1.8 – 2mm extruded acrylic glazing.
Non-standard mount colour – if you need a specific mount colour then we probably have it available in stock.
Double and triple mounts – double and triple mounts enhance your picture and can be ordered in numerous colour combinations.
Multi-image mounts – we have numerous standard multi-image mounts available. If you require something special then we can do that as well.
